The Andremily Mourvèdre fruit sources are Alta Mesa and Slide Hill - 70% whole cluster. Elevage around 21 months in 50% New French Barrique and 600L Demi-Muid and 50% Used French Barrique.
The Mourvèdre, while stacked packed and all that, offers a bit more refinement than its older siblings, with softer tannins, and more length. This Beauty has soaring aromatics of chocolate, roasted meats, baked blueberries and plums, along with hints of tar and subtle earthy notes. A velvety texture, and plenty of length make this wine an absolute delight to drink.
96-98 points, "The 2022 Mourvèdre is going to be brilliant, and it's clearly in the same ballpark as the 2021, although slightly riper in style. Blackberries, black raspberries, ground pepper, sandalwood, and loamy earth all define the aromatics, and this puppy hits the palate with full-bodied richness, a broad, layered mouthfeel, velvety yet building tannins, and a blockbuster finish." - Jeb Dunnuck
