Established on 0.7779 hectares, this is ferruginous clay-limestone soil. Les Chalumaux grapes ripen early. Right from the first rays of spring sunshine, they wake up – and take off at a gallop to be the first in the cellar. These renewed vineyards are now 10 to 40 years old.
The wines are rich and opulent with a more discreet minerality. A more generous Puligny with exotic notes and a blend of hazelnuts and honey.
