Benevelli Dolcetto d'Alba "La Costa"

2023
Vines planted in 1986. All vineyards are in the commune of Monforte and are hand harvested. During fermentation the wines are pumped over 3 times a day. During alcoholic fermentation the temperature is kept at 26-28°C. Delestage halfway through the alcoholic fermentation. Maceration lasts 7 days. Elevage in stainless steel tanks for 6-7 months. Aged 3 months in bottle before release.
"Dolcetto takes on many appearances, but this one is a fresh and delicious tonic that opens with notes of elderberry and zesty citrus before the black tea and gentle tannin take over. Serve it alongside a risotto with meaty mushrooms or a grilled flank steak on a nice night for a dreamy alfresco feast!" - Kermit Lynch Wine Merchant
"This a classic Dolcetto fresh, a perfect wine for evry day, easy to frink, fresh..." Massimo Benevelli, winemaker
